Climate Controlled
vs. Non-Climate Storage

Climate controlled storage units are kept at a consistent temperature between 60 and 80 degrees year-round, and have humidity removed from the environment. Use climate-controlled storage for:

  • Craft supplies
  • Fine Art, paintings, art supplies
  • Leather products
  • Wood furniture
  • Antiques and heirlooms
  • Cameras and camera equipment
  • Records, DVDs, CDs, etc.
  • Home electronics: TVs, etc.
  • Musical Instruments
  • Photographs and keepsake albums
  • Furs
  • Clothing
  • Plastics
  • Storage of dry or canned foods
  • Business furniture
  • Business supplies
  • Seasonal inventory
  • Regular inventory
  • Books
  • Construction Supplies
  • Tools
  • Machines
  • Restaurant Equipment
  • Computers
  • Audio and Video Equipment
  • Medical Supplies
  • Business and Financial Records

Non-climate storage is exposed to regular outdoor temperatures (similar to a garage), and is less expensive. Although we seal our floors to minimize dust, we recommend covering items for long-term storage. Use a non-plastic covering to avoid moisture build-up. Not sure which is right for you?
