How do I get a lock? Who has a key?

With your administrative fee, we provide you a lock with 3 keys. No one else has a key to that lock.

Is there a deposit?

No, 1st Choice Storage does not charge a deposit.

Any additional fees?

There is an administration fee collected at the time you pay your first month’s rent. This covers general move-in costs and includes a lock, which we provide you.

How do I pay my monthly bill?

1st Choice Storage gives you several options to make your monthly payment besides paying with check or cash. With our AutoPay program, we can automatically charge your MasterCard®, Visa®, or American Express® each month or we can automatically debit your checking account, assuring timely payment each month. Both of those methods are also available 24 hours a day on our website if you choose to pay at your own convenience.

How long is my lease for a space?

We use the standard lease from the Texas Self Storage Association, which stipulates that your contract is a month-to-month agreement. Discounts are available for longer term agreements.

When can I access my space?

All of our locations allow 24/7 access year-round.

Are discounts available if I prepay my rent?

Yes, we offer 5% discounts for prepaying a 6 month lease, and a 10% discount for prepaying a year lease.

Military Discount?

Yes, ask the property manager.

Can I use your moving truck?

Our Buda location has a moving truck available to use for free for move-ins, subject to availability. Please see manager for additional details.
